I admit that I am an addict when it comes to Asianovelas — Korean and Taiwanese TV series are my fave! Few weeks ago, I already finished watching Marry Me, Mary (if you want to get kilig, I suggest you to watch it!) And for this week, I decided to watch My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, a romantic comedy Korean TV series starring Lee Seung Ki and Shin Min Ah. Oh, if you don’t know what a Gumiho is, literally it’s a nine tailed fox, a creature that appears in the oral tales and legends of Korea.
Below is a transcript of the informal interview of GMA’s reporter Jun Veneracion with Christopher Lao:
Lao: I think this a problem with the traffic enforcers as well, for example the MMDA, because they should have already blocked the road.
Veneracion: Hindi mo ba alam na ganun ka siyang malalim?
Lao: Wala! Kasi tingnan mo oh, who will tell me, who will tell me? Really? Did you guys even tell me?
Veneracion: Ah well, nandito kami [sa kabila ng baha]…
Lao: Oh yun, sino ba yung mga nandoon?
Veneracion: …na-surprise nga kami… [unintelligible]
Lao: Eh sino yung mga nandoon sa side na yun? Did, did anyone tell—Wala! Nobody even stopped! Nobody informed! It’s like, people were waiting for someone to just do that.
Veneracion: Pero hindi mo ba na-realize na malalim?
Lao: Why do you info—why do i—Bakit ako? Diba? (laughs ironically) Dapat i-inform, i-inform, I should have been informed, yun lang yun.
Today, my hubby downloaded different apps on his Apple iTouch. Mostly were kiddie apps, intended for our dear baby. Since my lil kiddo loves Talking Tom Cat, we decided to add these apps: Talking Gina the Giraffe and Talking Baby Hippo. I’m so sure she would love all of these! What do you think? Have you tried these apps? Do you like it?
I painted my nails black. Ya’ay! I just love dark colored nail polish as it goes well with my skin tone. Aside from black, I also love red, may it be bloody red or pussy red. Maybe next week I’ll try the nail art — cute strawberry or perhaps little colored hearts would be perfect. Oh so kawaii!
