Headphones are great to use to listen to music, while watching television or viewing a movie, and when using your personal computer. There are thousands of applications where you can use headphones. There are a lot of brands and types that you can choose from nowadays, depending on the application.
Basically, a headphone has three parts: the driver, the earpiece and the attachment system. The driver is the ‘sound producer’. It is a transducer which converts electrical signal to the audio sound that you hear once you place the headphones on your ears. The earpiece is the physical part which you put to your ears.
Computer programs like Adobe Photoshop are used to change digital photos, either to fix a problem in the picture or to make it look different. Here are some of the basic things than can be done with a photo-editing program.
- Cropping, or cutting, a picture down to a different size or shape
- Making the photo darker or lighter
- Reducing that annoying red-eye effect that sometimes happens when you use a flash
You can also do more interesting things — say, taking your dog from one picture and placing her in front of the pyramids in Egypt in another photo. Special effects are also possible; you can make your photos look like they were painted with a brush or even carved out of stone!
Whether you own a Nokia, Samsung, LG, Blackberry, or iPhone 4, use this tip for your multi-tasking machine.
Change your settings. Reduce display brightness to as low as you find readable (or set to ‘auto’), and turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth when you’re not using them, so they aren’t constantly scanning. Unplug your phone when it’s at max charge — leaving it plugged in heats up the battery, causing it to wear out faster.
