When traveling, it’s always wise to adhere to a daily budget to avoid overspending. A brilliant tip: Keep each daily budget allotment in separate envelopes and label them (Day One, Day Two, and so on). This is a simple and effective way to monitor your daily expenses. At the end of each day, check your envelope for any excess amount — but don’t put the surplus in the next envelope. Instead, keep the extra money as savings. By the end of your vacation, you’ll be surprised that you were able to save a significant amount of money that you can use for your next trip!
